A DEGREE HOLDS NO VALUE IT IS IN DELIVERY
To me, a degree is a decorated Paper. A degree holds no value it's in delivery. That's why, you can be a first class in school and still be a blatant failure in life. The life in school is fall more different from the life outside school. Putting God first, Responsibility and a sense of mission, purpose, discipline, deligent, sacrifice, good character and commitment will set anyone (degree or no degree holder) to their desired goal and destiny in life. If you do these things and God be with you, the sky will be your limit. The best dear!!!

1) Your brain, worth and capacity in life is a sum total of what you read, study, do and watch.

4) Knowledge is the most valuable treasure in the entire world. The more you know the better you become. You cannot grow above your knowledge.

THE ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE EXPANSION OF THE CHURCH
CHAPTER
ONE
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background to the study
The Scriptures clearly identify who belongs to Christ—that is, who we
might term a true Christian. Apostle Paul’s teaching in Romans 8:9: “Now if
anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His”. The Holy Spirit,
then, is an essential aspect of the biblical definition of a Christian.
Further, only those who are led by God’s Spirit have access to eternal life. Paul
continues in verse 11, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead
dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your
mortal bodies through His Spirit which dwells in you.” It becomes abundantly
clear that the Holy Spirit plays a major role in the lives of Christians. Paul
defines the Christian very clearly: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of
God, these are sons of God.” The Holy Spirit identifies us with Christ, it
makes immortality possible to human, mortal beings, it makes possible an obedient,
overcoming Christian life, and it truly leads (guides, empowers and motivates)
the sons of God. In short, God’s Spirit—also called the Spirit of Christ—is
what makes one a Christian, a Spirit-led follower of Jesus Christ.
If the Holy Spirit is what defines a Christian and makes one a child of
God, it is most vital that we learn and understand more about that Spirit and
its role..[1] The
Holy Spirit is described in the Bible as a power at work in the lives of
people, dealing with them and revealing more fully God and His will for
mankind....
1.2 Statement
of the Problem.
A church void of the Holy Spirit cannot grow and
expand. God cannot bless a church that neglect the efficacy of the power of the
Holy Spirit for growth and expansion. Unhealthy churches are filled with
conflicts, spiritual carnality, leaders who are more interested in control than
allowing the Holy Spirit to lead. The focus of toxic churches is inward...
1.3 Purpose of the Study.
The purpose of the research study is to determine the role of
the Holy Spirit in the expansion of the church: a case study of Assemblies of
God church. Specifically, the following purposes:
1. To
explore the person and characteristics of the Holy Spirit on the expansion of
the Assemblies of God church.
2. To examine the place and essentiality
of the Holy Spirit on the expansion of the Assemblies of God church.
3. To ascertain the restrictive nature of the Holy Spirit on the
growth of the church.
4. To investigate the manifestations
of the Holy Spirit on the expansion of the Assemblies of God church.
1.4 Research Questions.
1. Is the person
and characteristics of the Holy Spirit visible in the expansion of the
Assemblies of God church?
2. What are
the place and essentiality of the Holy Spirit on the expansion of the
Assemblies of God church?
3. What are the restrictive nature
of the Holy Spirit on the growth of the church i?
4. What are the
manifestations of the Holy Spirit on the expansion of the Assemblies of God
church?

Significance
of the Study.
The study will be of
great and immense benefit to Christian ministers, theologians, Christians, members
of the church, and researchers.
To the Christian
ministers, it will increase their knowledge on the Holy Spirit and how
it will expand their church, and to theologians, it will increase
their perspective on the relationship between the Holy Spirit and the
church, to Christians and members of the church they will have a
better understanding of the role of the holy spirit and how he operate in the
expansion of the church, and to researchers, it will be a resource
material for further studies.
1.6 Scope of the Study.
The scope
of the research study is limited in scope to The role of the Holy Spirit in the
expansion of the church: a case study of Assemblies of God church Ondo District.
1.7 Limitation of the Study.
Time constraint-
The researcher will simultaneously engage in this study with other academic
work. This consequently will cut down on the time devoted for the research
work. Financial constraint- Insufficient fund tends to impede
the efficiency of the researcher in sourcing for the relevant materials,
literature or information and in the process of data collection (questionnaire).
1.8 Definition of Terms.
Role: the function assumed or part played by a person or thing in a
particular situation.
Holy Spirit: the Holy Spirit is a
divine person, the third person in the trinity, a being with a mind, emotions,
and a will.
Expansion: the
action of becoming larger or more extensive.
Church: is
a place where Christians come together to worship, prayer and serve God.

INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the study
This research study examine the importance of the Holy Ghost Baptism on the Evangelistic Strategy:The Holy Ghost Baptism is
not only important but essential to life. While the coming of Christ was to
save us, the coming of the Holy Ghost is to empower us to live the life that God
has created us for. Without the Holy Ghost, our lives have very little meaning.
Evangelism is the presentation of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit
so that others may come to put their trust in God through Him, accepting him as
their Savior and serving him as their Lord.[1]
The word Evangelism comes from the Greek noun “euangelion” which means gospel
or good news. The verb form of the word is “euangelizesthai” which means
to preach the gospel or to tell good news. A related Greek word is
marturein which means to bear witness...
The
term baptism with the Holy Spirit originates in the New Testament, and all
Christian traditions accept it as a theological concept. Nevertheless,
different Christian denominations and traditions have interpreted its meaning
in a variety of ways due to differences in the doctrines of salvation and
ecclesiology. As a result, Spirit baptism has been variously defined as part of
the sacraments of initiation into the church, as being synonymous with
regeneration, as being synonymous with Christian perfection, or as being a
second work of grace that empowers a person for Christian life and service. [3]....
1.2 Statement of the Problem.
The lack of baptism of
the Holy Ghost in the life of the evangelist, has made the operation of his
strategies strainous. As a spiritual agent, he is suppose to strategies through
divine help and direction. The
evangelist in Akoko rely on their own human effort to carry on divine
assignment, which is frustrating. The evangelist in Akoko need the operation
and the
manifestation of the Holy Ghost in evangelic strategy it is therefore necessary
to investigate how Akoko church
leads in evangelism and why the church is stagnant, using Assemblies
of God Church, Akoko as a case study.
1.3 Purpose
of the Study.
The purpose of the research study
is to determine the Holy Ghost Baptism on
the Evangelistic Strategy: A Case Study of Assemblies of God Church Akoko. Therefore,
the purpose of the study are; (1) It shall explore the
importance of the Holy Ghost Baptism in the life of the evangelist, and (2) to
know the essential role played by the Holy Ghost in evangelism strategy, (3) outline
the restrictive nature and manifestation of the Holy Ghost facing the Evangelist,
(4) proffer possible solutions to these restrictions of the manifestation of
the Holy Spirit as encountered by the evangelist, and work out modalities to salvage the short
coming of the manifestation and impart of the Holy Ghost on evangelism strategy
in Assemblies of God.
1.4 Research Questions.
- What importance is there to be baptized with Holy Spirit before going out for Evangelism in Assemblies of God church Akoko?
- Has there any essential Roles of the Evangelist and the Evangelism strategy with H.SP. Influence?
- Are there some possible modalities to be derived to key into evangelism strategy through H.SP. Baptism?
- Is the Holy Spirit important to evangelism strategy?

of the Study.
This research study will unveil the important place, role, impact and the multifaceted
manifestations of the Holy Ghost baptism on evangelism strategy, which will be
of immense and a resource material to researchers, theologians, church leaders
and Christian alike.
