1.1 Background to the Study.
This study deals with Evaluation of Redemption: Implications for the Contemporary Church. A Case Study of Assemblies of God Church Sapele District. Everyone is in need of redemption. One’s natural condition was characterized by guilt: “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Christ’s redemption has freed one from guilt, being “justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” Redemption among other things include eternal life, forgiveness of sins, righteousness, freedom from the law’s curse, adoption into God’s family, deliverance from sin’s bondage, peace with God, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. To be redeemed, then, is to be forgiven, holy, justified, free, adopted, and reconciled..

questions. Jesus took the punishment for one’s sins, and substitute it,

redemption and promise their members eternal life without proper process of
redemption. Sin is predominant in churches today all in the name of redemption...
